HMF UK Obtain SafeContractor Accreditation
11 December 2019HMF UK has in December 2019 obtained SafeContractor Accreditation. For you, this guarantees a safe, ethical and sustainable crane supplier.
What does it mean?
SafeContractor accreditation enables HMF UK to work with major customers within the aftermarket service environment. Many large blue chip customers insist on SafeContractor as a compulsory requirement to work with suppliers. Without this, we cannot provide supply or service cranes to some major customers. SafeContractor was designed to review and audit health and safety policies, procedures and documentation meaning that HMF UK’s health and safety procedures are now proven to meet the required standard, and these will be regularly audited to ensure the standards continue to be met. Another advantage is this accreditation will reduce the need to complete and submit multiple health and safety questionnaires to many of our larger clients. As HMF UK take Health & Safety very seriously, this is also evidence of our commitment to safety to our customers as well as our own staff.
Why it is important to be accredited by SafeContractor?
Now that we are approved by SafeContractor, HMF can be found on the SafeContractor database, which is used by many large blue chip companies, many of which are household names. These larger clients have access to the list, meaning it may open up more tender opportunities and the opportunity to work together with larger organisations in the near future.
As part of the accreditation, HMF UK have also achieved the higher status of SafePQQ, meaning that we are able to demonstrate that we are a safe, ethical and sustainable company to work with covering the categories of:
Finance | Anti-bribery | Environment | GDPR | Quality Management | Right to Work | Equality | Building Information Modelling | Modern Slavery | References
