Cranes with power to lift
Crane stories
Record-breaking turnover despite fire, pandemic and supply challenges
For Danish crane manufacturer HMF, 2021 brought both a worldwide pandemic, supply shortages, and a factory building on fire.
Nevertheless, the year ended with record-high sales figures, a full order book, and plans for new headquarters.
HMF invests in the future and plans new headquarters
HMF says goodbye to Højbjerg in 2024 after almost 80 years in the area. HMF will build a new domicile and bring its HQ in Højbjerg and its subsidiary in Galten together under one roof.
The new buildings will fulfil the company's dreams of growth, modernisation, and a better working environment.
Fabrice transforms truck cranes into railway cranes
HMF cranes aren't originally developed for railway carriages. Nevertheless, the company CML, led by Fabrice Coulon, has made a business of rebuilding HMF cranes for the railway sector. A niche business that requires ingenuity and engineering expertise.
We asked Fabrice to tell us more about this work.
