HMF Group Sells Its Original Headquarters in Højbjerg
Oddervej 200 has been home to HMF since the 1950s and holds great historical significance for the company. The sale therefore marks both the end of an important era and the beginning of a new chapter for HMF Group. HMF Group’s CFO, Henrik Skjærbæk, is pleased that the company now has a solid foundation for continuing its long-term plans:
“It has been an exciting and extensive process to secure the best possible foundation for HMF Group’s future. With this agreement, we now have the opportunity to continue working on plans for a new headquarters and modern facilities that can support HMF Group’s continued growth and provide an excellent working environment for our employees for many years to come. At the same time, we are pleased that the area can now be developed and contribute positively to the continued growth of both Højbjerg and Aarhus.”
HMF Group has previously announced its long-term ambition to consolidate its activities in new and more modern facilities with improved infrastructure and development opportunities. The company is therefore currently exploring potential locations for its future headquarters and production facilities.
For employees based at Oddervej 200, there will be no immediate changes to day-to-day operations. HMF Group will continue its activities at the address until new facilities are ready for occupancy, and any future relocation will also depend on the continued local planning process for the area.
Throughout the process, HMF Group has maintained close dialogue with Aarhus Municipality and Raundahl & Moesby A/S regarding the opportunities to transform the area into a new and attractive urban district featuring housing, green spaces, and mixed-use city functions. As part of the investor and development team behind the project, Raundahl & Moesby A/S has also become the purchaser of the site.
Earlier this year, HMF Group also inaugurated a new Customer Experience Center in Galten as part of the company’s continued development and investment in modern facilities.
